Grand Ledge Area District Library Mission Statement

The Grand Ledge Area District Library will acquire and make readily available resources in a
variety of formats, including appropriate technology, to meet the educational, recreational and informational needs of the community it serves.

Library Budget

The library operates on a July-June fiscal year.  Each May the library board reviews the library budget and millage rate and holds a public hearing.  In order to accomplish the library’s mission the library board has approved the following budgets:

Current Fiscal Year 2017 2018 public budget

Previous Fiscal Year: 2016 2017 GLADL budget

Proposed Fiscal year: 2018 2019 GLADL budget

ON THE ADOPTION OF THE
BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 2018-2019

TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS IN THE LIBRARY DISTRICT OF THE GRAND LEDGE AREA DISTRICT LIBRARY:

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Grand Ledge Area District Library, Counties of Eaton and Clinton, State of Michigan, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, the 22nd day of May, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the 1931 Room of the Grand Ledge Area District Library, 131 East Jefferson Street, Grand Ledge, Michigan 48837, to consider the approval and adoption of the operating budget of the Grand Ledge Area District Library for fiscal year 2018-2019.

Copies of the proposed budget are on file with the Library Director at the Grand Ledge Area District Library, 131 East Jefferson Street, Grand Ledge, Michigan 48837, for inspection during regular library hours. At the public hearing, all citizens, taxpayers, and property owners of the Grand Ledge Area District Library District, Counties of Eaton and Clinton, Michigan, shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard in regard to the approval of the budget.

THE PROPERTY TAX MILLAGE RATE PROPOSED TO BE LEVIED TO SUPPORT THE PROPOSED BUDGET WILL BE A SUBJECT OF THIS HEARING.
